We’re thanking National Lottery players by offering anyone arriving with a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard free entry to the Museum on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December 2017.

#ThanksToYou – is a way of saying ‘thank you’ this Christmas, more than 350 National Lottery-funded heritage attractions across the UK are taking part. Did you know that without National Lottery players, the £7.7billion of funding awarded to more than 42,000 heritage projects over the last 23 years just wouldn’t have been possible? We will be joining participating National Lottery funded visitor attractions across the UK in saying ‘thanks’ to people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket. In March 2012 Wiltshire Museum was awarded £370,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to create new prehistoric galleries which showcase Britain’s best Bronze Age archaeological collections.   Come and see them, and much more, for free on this special weekend!
