Jane has a BA (Hons) in Ancient History & Archaeology and an MA in Post-Excavation Skills both from Leicester University and an NVQ in Cultural Heritage. She started her museum work at Southampton City Council Heritage Services, as Documentation Officer before becoming Assistant Curator. In 2006 she moved to Salisbury Museum where she worked for 10 years as Curator of Archaeology, Collections Manager and lastly as Project Curator creating the Wessex Gallery and cataloguing the Pitt-Rivers collection.

She is now responsible for the care, interpretation and documentation of the Archive and Library collection working with a team of volunteers to make the collection accessible.
