Bush Barrow Mace

On the right side of the skeleton lay a mace. The head was formed from a fossil coral, probably from Devon. The wooden handle was originally decorated with five bone zigzag mounts. Similar mounts have been found in grave Circle B at Mycenae in Greece and in Spain.
