Find out about gods, goddesses and mummification in Ancient Egypt.

Investigate clues from artefacts to discover who the mummy in our mock tomb may have been. Take part in a range of crafts to discover more about Ancients Egyptians and their beliefs.

Our Museum Explorer’s club is for 5-7 year olds and will be an introduction to popular topics such as the Romans and Ancient Egyptians. Take part in fun activities such as role play, art and craft, dressing in costume and exploring our galleries

4 year olds who have started school (or are being home educated) are welcome too.

There’s no annual fee, but pre-booking is essential to help us plan the sessions. Each session costs £6 per child, maximum number of children per session is 10. Parents are welcome to stay (no charge).
