October: Archaeological Discoveries – Discover facts about some amazing archaeological discoveries, find, identify and record artefacts through mock (sand tray) excavations and find out what it is like to be an archaeologist through a variety of hands on activities.

Our Museum Explorer’s club is for 5-7 year olds and will be an introduction to popular topics such as the Romans and Ancient Egyptians. Take part in fun activities such as role play, art and craft, dressing in costume and exploring our galleries.

4 year olds who have started school (or are being home educated) are welcome too.

There’s no annual fee, but pre-booking is essential to help us plan the sessions. Each session costs £6 per child, maximum number of children per session is 10. Parents are welcome to stay (no charge).
