Walk : Pewsey Vale and Marden Henge

This full day tour will be led by Museum Director, David Dawson.  The day begins with coffee and a guided tour of the Wiltshire Museum, followed by a light lunch (included) then a guided walk in the Pewsey Vale.

Stout footwear, protective clothing to suit the prevailing weather conditions and reasonable mobility will be required.

£40 (£35 WANHS members).  Booking essential. No dogs.

Marden Henge

Marden Henge (also known as Hatfield Earthworks) is the largest Neolithic henge enclosure discovered to date in the United Kingdom.[1] The monument is northeast of the village of Marden, Wiltshire, within the Vale of Pewsey and between the World Heritage sites of Avebury and Stonehenge.[2]
