Summary: 1 of a pair of Early Saxon small-long brooches, square headed with wide crescentic foot, made from leaded bronze with tinned surface, found on right of skeleton, evidence of textile around iron pin, paired with 1990.1.426, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
