Description

Identification note: Axes of similar fine-grain greenstone are known from North Wales (Penmaenmawr) and Langdale. Without petrological analysis however we cannot be certain of the axehead's origin

Summary: Polished Neolithic axehead, 3500-2100 BC, probably made of greenstone, with damage at the butt end, from Luckington, Wiltshire.
