retouched flint piece

Description

Summary: 5 pieces of waste flint, all with retouch, probably for use as scrapers or cutting tools. Could be either mesolithic or neolithic re-use of earlier debitage. All found in topsoil/ploughwash of Ditch II, Cutting IVb. All found in the ploughwash of Cutting IIb, from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
