Description

Summary: 2 pieces of an Early Saxon cosmetic brush handle, made from a thin bronze sheet folded round and secured with an iron pin, remains of bristles can be seen at one end, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
