Description

Summary: bronze coin struck between AD 330 and 335, a commemorative 4th century coin with (C)ONSTANTINOPOL(IS) on the obverse and 'victory on prow' on the reverse, the mint being Treveri (TRIER,Germany) indicated by the letter TRSS, from an excavation at Tockenham Villa, Tockenham, Wiltshire, excavated by the Time Team crew in 1994.
