Description

Summary: Neolithic polished flint axehead, roughly triangular in shape, expanding from the butt to the cutting edge. The flint is very heavily patinated, it is almost entirely grey-white in colour. The entire surface is polished. The sides of the axe have been polished flat. It was found in the topsoil during house building in Pewsey, c.2007.
