Description

Identification note: this site was also excavated by Mr B H and Mrs M E Cunnington in 1908-09

Summary: 3 cores of dark brown flint. One patinated in blue grey, one patinated with black mottling, one flat core with extensive cortex patinated white with black mottling, from the causewayed enclosure on Knap Hill, Alton, excavted by G Connah, 1961.
