Description

Summary: 2 pieces of an Early Saxon pin, shaft is bone, circular in cross-section, with a hole drilled through the head, through which was a circular bronze loop, half of which remains, incised lines to either side of hole, 1 above, 3 below, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
