Come and explore the Museum to see how animals are depicted in the collections and create a detailed drawing, a museum replica or create your own mini natural history display.
Activities will include:
* A gallery trail to explore our natural history displays and animals depicted on objects in the archeology galleries.
* The opportunity to see some of the natural history collections not usually see by the public.
* A chance to create detailed drawings, a museum replica inspired by some of the objects you have seen and your own mini natural history display.
Our Museum Explorers club is for 5-7 year olds and is an introduction to popular topics such as the Romans and Ancient Egyptians. 4 year olds who have started school (or are being home educated) are welcome too. Come along and take part in fun activities such as role play, art and craft, dressing in costume and exploring our galleries.
There’s no annual fee and new members are always welcome.
