Find out how curators care for a display objects though exploring our galleries. Create your own museum display in a box using a range of materials to make your replicas and labels.

Our Museum Explorers club is for 5-7 year olds and will be an introduction to popular topics such as the Romans and Ancient Egyptians. Take part in fun activities such as role play, art and craft, dressing in costume and exploring our galleries

4 year olds who have started school (or are being home educated) are welcome too.

There’s no annual fee, but pre-booking is essential to help us plan the sessions. Each session costs £6 per child, maximum number of children per session is 10. Parents are welcome to stay (no charge).

Not 5 to 7? Then why not come along to our Young Curators club for 8-13 year olds (2nd Saturday of the month), or Curious Kids for 2 – 4 year olds (first Saturday of the month).
