WALK: Honey Street, Woodborough, Britain’s Largest Henge and the Hangman’s Stone – a Hidden Wiltshire walk

A 7-mile ramble through the Wiltshire countryside.

This route, led by Glyn Coy of Hidden Wiltshire, starts at Woodborough Church and is a relatively flat amble through 7 miles of Wiltshire countryside, with grand views of the Pewsey Downs and the White Horse, Woodborough Hill and a Neolithic henge.

Start time: 1.00 pm. Walk is expected to last approx. three hours. 7 miles.

Meeting Point: Start from Woodborough Church.

Parking:  There is limited space for parking outside the church, or at Woodborough Church Room (follow the lane past the church, veering left, down to the end).  Alternatively park at Wiltshire Museum and car sharing will be arranged – please advise preference to hello@wiltshiremuseum.org.uk
