Winter traditions and Christmas past
From winter traditions in Prehistoric times to Tudor celebrations and Victorian Christmas traditions. There will be a range of activities to help you find out about these times and create your own seasonal decorations.
The December session is a week later than usual and earlier in the day!
Our Young Curators club is for 8-13 year olds and will take place, as before, on the second Saturday of each month (usually).
Sessions are focused around our collections and exhibitions, and subjects we look at include archaeology, history, natural history and art. Take part in practical activities such as archaeological recording, experiments, art, and walks to local archaeological sites. There are also opportunities to visit or take part in local archaeological digs taking place.
There’s no annual fee and new members are always welcome.
