Young Curators Club: Roman Feast

Find out about food and banquets in Roman times.

Follow recipes to create your Roman food. Decorate goblets and menus and prepare your Roman feast to share with your parents at the end of the session.

Previously scheduled for March.

Our Young Curators club (previously Young WANHS) is for 8-13 year olds and will take place, as before, on the second Saturday of each month. Sessions are focussed around our collections and exhibitions, and subjects we look at include archaeology, history, natural history and art. Take part in practical activities such as archaeological recording, experiments, art, and walks to local archaeological sites. There are also opportunities to visit or take part in local archaeological digs taking place.

There’s no annual fee and new members are always welcome.
