Meet the Project team on the Assizes for Devizes: unlocking Wiltshire's stories! Nicola, Claire and Helen will be working on the Development Phase of the project which received funding of £300,748 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The project aims to revitalise the derelict Devizes Assize Court as an iconic new home for Wiltshire Museum and its world class collection. Further creating a Vibrant Community Hub for the Lower Wharf.

The Development Phase is a two-year period to develop plans for the Assize Court. We will also be working towards obtaining Delivery Phase funding for the project, a full national lottery grant in 2025. To be eligible for this, we must match fund £4.8 Million so we have a lot of work to do!

We will be updating you regularly on any progress surrounding the project from the Devizes Assize Court website. There will be updates on any activities or future opportunities that you can get involved in!
