Facilities - Tours and Lecture HallThe staff of the Museum and Library have expertise in archaeology and history. Members of the public are very welcome to come in with enquiries or objects for identification and pick their brains. If the appropriate staff member is not present then any object may be left at the museum. We regret that we cannot offer valuations.
The Museum has a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor and baby-changing facilities.
There are no refreshment facilities for visitors at present in the Museum. However, Devizes is fortunately well supplied with places to eat, from sandwich bars and coffee shops to public houses and excellent restaurants.
We also have the facility to offer guided tours of the Museum and Library, both during the day and the evening, subject to availability of staff.
