Summer Holiday Activities: Prehistoric Discoveries

Arts and crafts activities for ages 3 to 11

1 and 2 August – Prehistoric Discoveries.

Create prehistoric animals from clay, handle artefacts from the Stone Age and Bronze Age, create henge themed art work and use building blocks to design your own henges. Some sessions have sold out. To be added to the waiting list email: hello@wiltshiremuseum.org.uk.

8 and 9 August – Dinosaurs and Underwater Sea Creatures. Handle fossils, create your own dinosaur or sea creature scene and models.

15 and 16 August – Viking Explorers. Make mini longboats, braided bracelets and runic plaques.
Wednesday session sold out. To be added to the waiting list email: hello@wiltshiremuseum.org.uk.

22 and 23 August – Summer Textiles and Crafts. Create paper summer blooms, summer themed fabric wall hangings using the rag rug technique and cross stitch.

Times:
Tuesday: 10.30 am to 12 noon and 1.30 pm to 3 pm.
Wednesday: 10.30am to 12 noon. An afternoon session may be added if other sessions sell out.

Price: £6 per child, accompanying adult free (ticket must be booked).

Booking Notes
* Once 12 child tickets have sold for a session, it will not be possible to book any more child tickets, although adult tickets may still be available.
* activities are suitable for ages 3-11. Under 8s must be accompanied please.
* each session will last approx. 1½ hour.
