Description

Summary: 1 large globular urn of grey ware, red coated and burnished on the exterior, black on interior, with four complete outstanding ornamental bosses about 130mm below the rim and appromimately 170mm apart, when complete there were probably six, from the early Iron Age settlement at All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings Cross, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
