Summary: 15 black and white photographs of Charabanc outings, Froxfield, Wiltshire. 1-5 - Mr Frank Skippence' charabancs. 1 - 1917, Mr Frank Skippence at the door of his full charabanc. 2 - 1922, Mr Skippence and party at the garage. 3 - 1924, Mr Skippence in uniform, possibly Mr Les Huntley is second left at the back. 4 - 13th July 1935, Mr Skippence at the driver's seat of a full charabanc. 5 - a smaller charabanc being driven by Frank Skippence, Mr Oliver Alexander sits beside him with Elsie Alexander seated behind, possibly an early 20's Methodist Chapel outing. 6 and 7 - Littlecote estate outings. 6 - an all male outing, passengers include Mr George Wells, Mr Sid Winchcombe, Mr Ted Dixon, Mr Arthur Dixon, Mr Jock McClintock, Mr Joe Newton and Mr Harry Denton. 7- a families outing, including three of the keeper's families, Harrisons, Copps and Rosiers. 8 and 9 - All Saints Church choir outings. 8 - 8.15 am, 4th August 1921 at Salisbury en route to Bournemouth, at least 7 of the Dixon family are present. 9 - Southsea, 1st August 1922, one or two members of the Dixon family can be seen. 10 - some of the Dixons again in what appears to be a left-hand drive charabanc. 11 - Weymouth and a trip to Upwey, Mrs Harriet Dixon is behind the driver and Edgar Dixon is next to the little boy. 12 - believed to be taken at a stop in Salisbury en route to the sea, Mrs May, Doris and Edie May are the only identified passengers. 13 - seaside outing, Mrs Alice Coldridge and Mrs Annie Holmes with her grandson Christopher, 1952/3. 14 - unidentified group apart from the possibility of it being a member of the Huntley family on the extreme left. 15 - another unidentified group, all male.
