A gentleman and a young man stand in front of the display, another man is standing in the doorway of the shop, as is a man at the adjoining shop. A man is standing facing the camera in the left background of the picture. A low wall with iron railings above, enclosing a ?garden? can be seen in the right foreground. This has been replaced with a stone building by c. 1930.
