Description

Summary: 1 English traditional Sussex style jug with incised banding, misleading date and inscription on an emerald green slip ground, short neck, no lip, strap handle with curled terminal, slight splayed foot, flat base, lustrous lead glaze over enerald green slip, manufactured by Dicker Pottery, Lower Dicker, Sussex, Uriah Clark and Nephews, circa 1911 (?), acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
