Description

Summary: 1 Honey-coloured flint Handaxe, pear shaped and pointed at one end, with a chip missing at one shoulder. Possibly of Middle Acheulian classification and of Wymer type D, a common Wymer type of Hoxian date but it could be earlier or later. Found East of path running South from the A345, Marlborough, Wiltshire.
