Description

Summary: 1 Early Saxon copper alloy broad-band annular brooch with circular perforation, iron pin still in position, incomplete and covered with corrosion products, from the right of vertebrae above the waist, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
