Description

Summary: 23 Roman, pottery rim, base and body sherds, no decoration. Majority greyware but also black burnished ware and colour-coated ware. 2 pieces of metal working slag. 2 Neolithic worked flint waste pieces. 1 piece of sandstone with wear to one side suggesting use as a whetstone or rubber. 3 pieces of fired clay. Collected from Woodsend Pond, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1989.
