Description

Summary: 1 piece of Roman iron strap work, bent at a right angle, flat underside with domed upper surface. Each end has a rivet hole, 1 end circular, 1 end in a circle elongated to a point. Probably banding from a small box. From the Iron Age settlement at Casterley Camp, Upavon, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr and Mrs B H Cunnington, 1909-1910.
