Description

Identification note: one of a collection of 6 inch OS maps which are described as "Curator's Annotated" maps. No indication of who made the annotations and when. Each map is stamped "Archaeology Division Ordnance Survey 29 Jan 1958". This is Berkshire Sheet XLI NW.

Summary: Ordnance Survey map Sheet XXXVII NW, scale I :10560 (6 inches to 1 mile), 1926 edition, showing the Little Bedwyn, Great Bedwyn and Shalbourne areas of Wiltshire annotated with notes about archaeological features and finds.
