iron key

Description

Summary: 1 iron key for barrel padlock consisting of a single strip of iron tapering in width from 15mm at key end, where the key itself is set at right angles to the strip, to 6mm at the top, which is bent over for suspension, from Grave 13, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
