Identification note: catalogue card has "A note on the back in the hand of Rev. J E Jackson states that the drawing was made 2 days after the fire. Also on the back is a pencil sketch by Wheatley of two windows in the same house" on the back

Summary: initialled pencil and watercolour drawing, long thought to be the remains of The Grange, Chitterne, but now known to be Manor Farm House, Chitterne, Wiltshire, burnt down April 17, 1852, 19.4.1852, by W W Wheatley
