sherd

Description

Identification note: These sherds are not numbered like the rest of the collection, and were loose in the box, so they are not conclusively from the Upton Cow Down excavation but have been included with it.

Summary: 2 sherds reconstructed of a reddish brown fabric with shell inclusions, and 1 sherd of a buff grey fabric, from the Iron Age period. From Upton cow Down, Westbury, Wiltshire. Items recovered by R. Bennett, 1966.
