Description

Summary: 3 Early Saxon beads. 1 amber, irregular shaped and 1 small blue glass, globular bead, and 1 red glass globular bead. The irregularly shaped amber bead may be re-used from a larger bead. All labelled as belonging to Group VIII. From the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
