Description

Summary: 1 Iron Age iron sickle blade. Edges folded over socket at one end, tip missing, no rivet holes or rivets visible. From Pit 57 at the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
