Description

Summary: 1 heavy art pottery face jug with bulbous body, short neck and funnel shaped, incised rim, small vertical handle connecting neck and body, grotesque moulded face on body opposite handle, the whole decorated outside and on base in-running glazes of blue, green and red, manufacturer unknown, circa 1900, acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
