Identification note: this site was also excavated by Mr B H and Mrs M E Cunnington in 1908-09

Summary: 4 cores of poor quality flint, the largest 3 being heavily patinated in white with brown cortex, 1 mid grey patination, all with two or more platforms, from the causewayed enclosure on Knap Hill, Alton, excavted by G Connah, 1961.
