pot sherd

Description

Summary: 4 sherds of coarse pottery with limestone inclusions, one marked 'D C I', one marked 'Df', one unmarked and one marked 'D C'. This last appears to have an applied ledge on which a lid could have rested. All from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
