Description

Summary: 1 bag containing Iron Age and Roman pot sherds, slip lines to one piece. Rims, bases and body sherds present. Roman includes, Samian ware, coarseware, greyware, black burnished ware and colour coated wares. 1 hand drawn iron nail with square shaft, 1 piece of worked sandstone and 1 piece of fired clay. Collected from Stock Close / Laines East, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1979.
