Summary: 2 black and white photographs and 14 digital prints relating to the Offer family of Devizes, Wiltshire. 1 and 2 - views of a long, low house. One of the photographs is entitled "House erected at Conock for Lieut. Col. Oliphant" and shows the whole length of the house with a gentleman standing, leaning against the house. The other photograph, a closer view, has four men standing, leaning against the house. 3 - group photograph c.1950's, of a group of women, Bertha Crew, Jean Luck, Mrs Bond, Aline Offer, Majorie Mullings, Majorie Marchent, Mabel Pearce, Joan Smith. 4 - portrait of George Henry Offer, he married Mary Ann Hilliar from Bishop's Cannings. 5 - portrait of Tom Offer, George Henry's son. 6 - group photograph, Roundway Hospital Football Team, Beavis is seated front left and John Long standing back right. 7 - group photograph of members of the Devizes Operatic c. 1930's, three ladies, two children and one gentleman, all in costume. 8 - group photograph of 6 gentlemen, Roundway male nurses. 9 and 10 - views of Roundway Hospital chapel, one close to the altar and one looking down the aisle towards the altar. 11 - portrait of a gentleman in navel uniform, possible the rank of Captain. 12 - view of a grave with white headstone and edging. 13 - view of a large group of people, mainly young girls and women, dancing at a Country Dancing, Dance Festival at Devizes Corn Exchange, c. 1950's. 14 - group photograph of 2nd Devizes Guides c. 1940's. 15 - exterior view of Offers Court sheltered housing scheme, built on the site of Offers Builders and Carpenters, Sheep Street, 29 The Green Devizes. 16 - group photograph of Tom Offer's Golden Wedding, Tom is seated in the centre of the group with his wife Gertrude nee Ellis, their sons, daughters and sons and daughters in law are beside and behind them and their grandchildren are seated on the floor at the front of the group.
