Summary: 1 cut half penny struck by Alexander II of Scotland in the name of William The Lion by the moneyers Hue and Walter in 1205 - 1230, from Ludgershall Castle, a Medieval royal castle and hunting lodge in East Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Addyman and Southampton University, 1964-72.
