Description

Summary: 1 copper alloy halfpenny of George II, 'Young head' type, struck between 1729 and 1745, possibly an 18th century counterfeit, from Ludgershall Castle, a Medieval royal castle and hunting lodge in East Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Addyman and Southampton University, 1964-72.
