Description

Summary: 1 English art pottery cylindrical, three handled vase with flaring barbed rim, flared foot and slight foot ring, glazed in dark blue inside and out with Art Nouveau stylised fish, carp, a leaping pair in the water amongst others leaping and diving, an incised design in green, blue and brown slips, the water highlighted in raised white dots, with mongram 'FB', manufactured by C H Brannam Ltd, Litchdon Pottery, Barnstaple, North Devon, circa 1910, acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
