Identification note: Marked 'E R' in black ink. 'ER = Edge of Rampart, SW side' from hand-written note on storage box

Summary: 2 rim sherds of coarse Iron Age orange coloured ware from a very sandy fabric, comparatively few inclusions, abraded, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
