Identification note: Annotated on back "8th standing from right, Rev. Travers - (Earlestoke)". (One man in a dog collar, standing, is 10th from right, another man in a dog collar, seated, is 8th from right)

Summary: 1 black and white photograh (mounted on board) of Devizes Board of Guardians, 1930. A group photograph of 45 men and 1 woman, 18 seated, 28 standing. This group were responsible for overseeing the working of The Poor Law.
