bronze finger ring

Description

Summary: 1 Iron Age bronze finger ring, coated in a thin layer of gold. Has notched ends allowing the diameter to expand. From Pit 27 at the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
