Description

Summary: 1 Early Saxon bronze quoit brooch, upper surface decorated. In area of pin on front and back are remains of a plain weave fabric, suggesting part of the pin may survive under this. From the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
