Identification note: Marked as coming from the Inner Ditch, it is very like Oxford Colour Coated ware from the 4th Century. 'Db.2'

Summary: 1 small base of pedestal colour coated vase, fabric cream coloured exterior with pale orange interior, colour coat dark red brown, very fine, smooth fabric with few, if any, inclusions, ?Romano British, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
