Identification note: Identifying location of 'F.S.' meaning 'Fire Site' ?, as opposed to 'F.H.' or 'Fire Hole' is made difficult by lack of reference in WAM text

Summary: 14 body sherds of coarse red ware including two haematite coated sherds, 1 rim sherd of red burnished globular shaped vessel repaired together with a body sherd, all marked F.S.I., from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
